My fitness journey with Melissa began nearly 3 years ago. I initially sought her out with the intention of getting a little stronger, gaining some muscle mass and learning a few workout routines that I could do at home. I assumed I would work with her for a few months at most. As time progressed, I realized how truly valuable her coaching is! She has helped me meet nutrition goals as well as strength training goals in the time we have worked together. I am without a doubt the strongest and healthiest I have ever been in my life thanks to her. Melissa thinks up new and creative workouts for me every session. I have bought 10 fitness training sessions with Melissa and now I have bought another 10 sessions. She is amazing. I told her my goals and she has stuck with them. She is very creative with workouts. We do workouts that I have never done before. She looks at your posture and fixes the posture if needed. Melissa really looks out for you. She gives advice about meals and helps on days you don’t have session with a workout plan to keep your goals going. We laugh, we have fun and we stay focused! I can go on and on about her. In the past year, I’ve been gaining strength and muscles. Melissa is always sharing ideas and recipes to help her clients eat more healthy meals. Melissa is always coaching on how to do the exercises properly which I greatly appreciate. She is concerned about proper form during exercises. And ultimately making sure I am not doing something in a way that will cause an injury. I don’t like going to a gym to work out. Being able to do an exercise class in my home on zoom is perfect for me. I get 1-1 attention in the privacy of my home. It’s as if Melissa is standing right next to me. Working with Melissa, I Increased motivation to live a healthier life, lost 20 pounds, and my cholesterol went down 39 points in a year. She makes it fun, she is very motivating, and knows what she’s talking about. During the pandemic I gradually fell into unhealthy habits which led to weighing more than I’d ever weighed before, discouragement and depression because, being in my mid-50s, I thought it was too late to get healthy. From the first session with Melissa, I felt encouraged that it was not too late and I could change my health and my body. She also helped me with changing my eating to more healthier eating, gave me some great recipes, and eating/food hacks to make eating healthy easier. She taught me that I didn’t have to eat perfectly or work out perfectly, but consistency is the key. I’ve had to take a break from training with Melissa for a while and I have missed her encouragement, teaching, pushing me, and laughing with me.

Zoom Fitness Training

Melissa will help you set up a home gym with free weights and other workout equipment within your budget. A home workout may not have all the equipment of the gym but Melissa’s long career in fitness has given her the skills and creativity to create challenging home workouts with minimal equipment.
